Message:  From what I understand, no culturing of feeder organisms are required for aquatic utrics as the water they grow in will eventually develop its own microflora. You need only condition their water with peat (1 cup per gallon). A bit of Daphia from time to time wouldn't hurt, though, I'm sure.

You can obtain U. gibba from California Carnivores (though they are presently sold out) and Lee's Botanicals. I also grow the species and would be happy to exchange a starter growth for another utric seed, cutting, etc.
